This experience is available only in limited numbers and exclusively through us. Transportation from Rovaniemi to the farm and back is included, making the visit easy and straightforward.

This experience focuses on everyday farm life rather than staged activities. You’ll spend time with the reindeer, learn how reindeer herding works in practice, and experience the farm at a calm, unhurried pace. There are no large groups and no tight schedules.

The visit is about being present: meeting the animals, understanding their role in local life, and spending relaxed time outdoors in a real working environment.

Transfer to the farm

You’ll be picked up in Rovaniemi and driven to the private reindeer farm through the Lapland countryside.

Welcome and introduction

The herder welcomes you to the farm and explains how daily life with reindeer works, including feeding routines and seasonal work.

Farm tour Movement around the farm is done in a sled pulled by a snowmobile. This allows you to explore the area and see the reindeer comfortably without long walks.

Time with the reindeer You’ll take part in feeding the reindeer and spend unhurried time observing them up close in a calm, respectful setting.

Campfire break

Time by the fire with warm drinks and light snacks. There is also a simple hands-on activity inspired by local traditions, kept informal and relaxed.

Return transfer

After the visit, you’ll be driven back to Rovaniemi.
